The Office of Governmental and Community Affairs serves as the voice of Emory University with all elected and appointed officials at the local, state and federal levels of government, proactively and effectively influencing public policy that affects academic and medical research, higher education and health care, students and patients. The office actively seeks to expand and strengthen partnerships with local community and neighborhood organizations on a variety of issues of mutual interest.
